Toolkitly policies

Privacy Policy

This document explains how Toolkitly protects your information across our current word counter and any future tools released on this domain.

1. Who we are

Toolkitly is a collection of browser-based productivity tools operated from the United States. Our mission is to help content teams write, measure, and ship faster without compromising privacy.

2. Information we process

Toolkitly tools process the text, files, or configuration data you provide on the client side. Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific tool, we do not transmit your content to our servers. We maintain minimal operational logs (such as anonymized error telemetry and aggregate usage counts) to keep the services reliable.

If you create an account in the future or subscribe to updates, we will store contact and billing information as required to operate those features. This privacy policy extends to those eventual products.

3. Cookies and third-party services

Toolkitly currently relies on client-side rendering and does not set cookies for analytics. We may enable privacy-focused analytics, authentication, or payment processors in the future. When we do, we will update this page with links to each vendor’s policy and provide consent controls where required.

If you choose to enable Google AdSense or other monetization partners, their scripts may collect data in accordance with their own policies. We display clear notices and give you controls to disable such integrations.

4. Data retention

Real-time inputs you enter into Toolkitly tools are discarded when you close your browser tab or explicitly clear the workspace. Operational logs used for security and abuse prevention are retained for up to 30 days unless we are legally required to keep them longer.

Should subscription or account features be introduced, we will retain profile and billing data for as long as the account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information, and to object to or restrict processing. Because Toolkitly currently operates without accounts, most requests can be fulfilled by clearing your browser storage. For account-based features, contact us at privacy@toolkitly.com.

6. Children’s privacy

Toolkitly is designed for professionals and is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please reach out so we can remove it.

7. Changes

We will revise this policy when we expand our toolkit or introduce new data flows. Material updates will be announced in-app and through our changelog. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
